Drilon S. Gashi is the Chief of Mission of the Consulate General of Kosova in Warsaw
As of 20 December 2023, Drilon S. Gashi began his mandate as the Chief of Mission/Consul General of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kosova in Warsaw, Poland.
Chief of Mission Gashi’s experience spans multiple leadership roles in international development and foreign affairs, working for the private and public sector in the United States and Kosova. Most recently, Mr. Gashi served as a Manager at Deloitte Consulting LLP in Washington, D.C., leading multiple programs and projects for preparing urban development initiatives, designing economic development strategies, financing new infrastructure projects, and enhancing climate sustainability and resilience. His work has supported 25 national and municipal governments in over 15 countries. Previously, he served as a Urban Development Specialist at the World Bank, also in Washington, D.C., managing both international development projects and research initiatives in support of sustainable development.
Drilon S. Gashi began his career in Kosova and the Balkans, providing consulting for the public, private, and NGO sectors between 2008 and 2013, including serving as Communications Counselor to the Prime Minister of Kosova from 2008 to 2010.
Mr. Gashi received his Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and Bachelor of Economics and International Business from Ramapo College of New Jersey, in the United States. He speaks fluent Albanian and English, basic Spanish, and is studying Polish.
