Katedra Etnologii i Antropologii Kulturowej UMK w Toruniu (Instytut Nauk o Kulturze) zaprasza na wykłady gościnne dr Rasy Pranskevičiūtė-Amoson z Instytutu Studiów Azjatyckich i Transkulturowych Uniwersytetu w Wilnie. Wykład "Alternative Religiosities in the Communist Regime and Post-Communist East-Central European Countries", odbędzie się dnia 6 maja 2024 r., (poniedziałek), godz. 13.15-14.45 w Collegium Humanisticum, w sali AB.2.13, kolejny wykład konwersatoryjny na temat ruchów okultystycznych, odbędzie się 7 maja 2024 r. , (wtorek), godz. 13.15-14.45, w Collegium Humanisticum, w sali AB.1.09.
Rasa Pranskevičiūtė-Amoson is an Associate Professor in Cultural Studies and Anthropology of Religion at the Institute of Asian and Transcultural Studies, Vilnius University, Lithuania. Her research interests are contemporary religiosity, Soviet and post-Soviet cultural heritage, youth, religious and other subcultures, migration and integration, gender studies and alternative social projects. Pranskevičiūtė-Amoson has experience of twenty years in applying qualitative social research methods. During this period, she has made fieldwork in Baltic countries, Ukraine, Russia, Sweden, Armenia, and India.
She has published on the material collected during her fieldwork on (post-)Soviet religiosity, alternative religious movements, and subcultures (Vissarionites and Anastasians, communities of Hare Krishna, Buddhists and Pagan Romuva, etc.). Since 2016, she is the correspondent for information concerning the sociological and legal aspects of religion in Lithuania (French National Research Center (CNRS) and University of Strasbourg (France)). During 2018-2022, she was the President of Lithuanian Society for the Study of Religions.
Oba wykłady będą prowadzone w języku angielskim i stanowią część kursu: Alternative Religiosities in the Communist Regime and Post-Communist East-Central European Countries. Zajęcia, jak i przygotowanie do nich, są obowiązkowe dla studentów KEiAK UMK.
